Mouse Locket Master Class

I am delighted to welcome the incredibly talented metal clay master Grannie Renolds to the Silver Clay Studio for her special Mouse locket master class.

This magical workshop is for those with some silver clay experience who would like to further develop their skills and knowledge. It is a challenging advanced level master class where you will have the opportunity to construct a locket entirely from silver clay.

In this 3 day Workshop you will learn how to ...

Make each component of the locket including hinges.

Build the locket using secure construction methods.

Create a moving bail.

Hand sculpt a little sleeping mouse.

Add embellishments to decorate your locket and make it your own.

Create a clasp and solder a wire for secure closure.

Patinate and polish for a beautiful finish.

Course fee includes a whopping 35g of silver clay and use of silver clay syringe and silver overlay paste.

All tools and equipment will be provided.

At the end of the 3 days you will go home with a beautiful, unique and quirky silver locket.

An heirloom piece of artisan jewellery.
